this is my first time reading a book by julie clark but i was NOT disappointed. it kept me on my toes (not literally, i usually lay down when i read) the whole time.

this story is the definition of cat-and-mouse except the cat is a journalist and the mouse is a morally questionable con-woman. she’s like dexter but without the killing.

loved it. devoured it. wanted more of it.
