light without being too light and heavy without being too heavy. what a description. novels like this aren’t my ~standard~ read, but it came highly recommended and lovingly suggested that i read it immediately.

i couldn’t put it down. i stayed up til midnight (3 nights in a row!) reading it which if you know me, is a testament to how much i enjoyed the story. it’s being adapted as a movie and rumor (social media) has it that dan levy might be cast as patrick the guncle. i’d drop everything to watch that.
